Fun Little Project (Stereo)

thanks for the compliments!!
Its tough to guage. I think if i could use my current ones as a mold and didnt do all the bondo work it could be accomplished in ~10-15 hours not including all the different drying times.
Even with experience it would take about 20 hrs do do one from scratch. The main problem is the lack of room. If there was a ton of extra space behind the seat it would be EASY and fast. But those are built EXACTLY the depth of the subwoofer so seat movement loss would be minimized. i would say over half of the build time went into overbuilding and cutting away dried fiberglass/bondo. In a bigger vehicle the same project would take very little time....but...we drive porsches

NOOOOO definatly do not pull out the seats. You need to have them in there to make your measurements on the correct angle to mount the subwoofer.
Its hard to see, but the angle of the subwoofer is exactly the same as my seats, that way seat movement loss is minimized...and cool factor goes up significantly
ps...i would love some gt3 seats, but i got a laundry list of things that must come first *cough* techart face lift *cough*

More work = more pics...
Primer and made some speaker grills...
Dont even ask about the speaker grills, i must have wandered around wal-mart for 2 hour until i decided on buying those circular things that gradma's use to cross-stitch, 3m adhesive spray, and stretchy black fabric.
I got some funny looks
