He just had the RMS fixed by kinetic racing in SC.

Glad to hear you're okay.
I think it's pretty funny that one of the first things you are thinking about is getting another P-car to replace the one you just lost. Talk about getting back on that horse again...

Always always always hit the deer. I'm in SC so I might be able to take a look at the car, depending on how big a hurry you are in. Edgefield is not too far away but this weekend is shot already. If you get serious about the car, Doc's Garage in Lexington is a good independent with a lot of Porsche experience. They could probably do a thorough PPI much better than the local Porsche dealer. If you're insistent on having a Porsche dealer do it, have him take it to Greenville.

I have no good idea. I bought my 99 about 2 years ago with about that mileage but a *bunch* of options but I got it through a friend who was a sales manager at a local dealer so I know I paid well below retail market.

glad to hear youre ok. totally our beloved cars is never a good thing to experience or hear about. the 996 you posted looks very good. mileage is a little high, but if you like it go for it. i would see if you could pick up a 2000 of 2001 for just a tiny bit more.

Thanks again for the input and the guy is not a member so I don't mind asking you what I should offer him if the car checks out ? It has 67k on the odom and is a 99. What do you guy's think is a fair offer ?

Yeah... definitely not the brightest of god's creations. I had a deer T-bone my old car at an stop sign. Mind you that was when I was STOPPED. Glad to hear you're ok.
That looks like a nice car but you may want to go with a later model with PSM so next time you have a "big brother" helping you keep your car under control.
I may be considering upgrading mine... you should PM me about my old P-car.
