how would you rate my purchase

I just (two weeks ago) bought an 04 40th anv model with 28K on it for $53k + tax.
Overall the car is in the good shape, except I'll prolly repaint the front bumper eventually. I just got the car from the 30K visit and dealer ended up replacing RMS + IS seals and said that clutch has about 60% left.
The interior is about 9.5/10. I can see some faults, but I'm pretty annal. Exterior is 8.5/10 due to aftermention bumper pittings.

Would you say that this is a decent deal, or I should have waited some more.

Gorgeous car and I think you got a very good deal! Last year, 40th's were in the mid sixties and that was still a good deal for everything you get in that model.

Peter good buy today but in a year it may be a different story. 90% of all cars depreciate but if you enjoy it that's all that matters.

Aloha

Question for you, if a number of people said you paid too much, what would do?
Drive it and enjoy it.

Well, the MSRP of that car was in 90s. So, whatever I lose, won't be anywhere to what it already lost.

These car didn't have much in terms of options. Everything was pretty much standard. I really wanted to get the 40th because it was the only C2 I could afford with a LSD.

That is why I don't want to make any bad financial decisions on my cars. Cars is about the only thing that I truly enjoy nowadays and losing less money would mean that I can get more/better cars in lesser time

This car will accompony my 03 Z06 pretty nicelly. Two great, but very different cars.
