hit and run...

Today at work someone hit my rear bumper so I am now on the search for a turbo look rear bumper. I have a 2000 911 carerra 4 narrow body. Can anyone suggest a website or company to buy it from that fits well and is good quality. Also I am looking for the ta type II replica front bumper with carbon fiber lip for my car as well. Do they make it? If so what company?

The problem is that I think it may have been a guy I work with and he won't admit it. Any info on those bumpers?

The problem with all the "Turbo Look" bumpers is....THEY SUCK....I had one and HATED IT...I was glad I was rear ended....It fit funny, looked funny and was fiberglass and started to ripple. I replaced with a genuine TT bumper modified to fit a NB...it ws cheaper, looks better is more durable and all factory....

How much did it cost to modify the oem turbo bumper to fit the narrow body? With the cost of the bumper, modifications, paint, install, etc?

I want to do the same thing. I got such a smoking deal on my turbo front bumper on e-bay. I was thinking that buying a real turbo rear and having it narrowed would be the most economical route. What did the body shop charge you to narrow the bumper? Is it complicated, or just a matter of cutting 2 inches out of the center and splicing it back together?

They cut it at the sides, not the center....they cut it where the bumper meets the fenders.....Dont ask me, it seemed confusing, BUT it looks perfect...They do LOTS of them....in fact they say they were the first to do it...I beleive them...they do LOTS of Pcar mods.....call them and ask...310-202-1555, ask for Raj....
