I was there for that too... Bimmercruise 2006... my Avatar pic is from that day on the same skid pad... and Rost is right, the skid pad was very dusty and low traction...

You have to watch it with the awd though. While sliding clockwise with the wheel cranked to the right, I've cranked the wheel left and ended up instantly going counter-clockwise voilently. If the front tires get grip, you will go to where those front tires are pointing.

not to steal the thread, but how is the 4S on the track? i know the 4S isn't the fastest car in a straight line, but how does it compare when it comes to cornering/on the track?
that annoying M3 that is like head to head with me when we race in a straight line, will it be a different story when it comes to the track?

Is not like the C2 can pull on a C4. There ain't that much difference. On the track the C4S is easy much easier to drive and you can get on the power sooner in the corners. Its not any faster then a C2 but it defantly keeps up and is much easier, you never really feel like your back end is coming out on you. I am sure a M3 can keep up to a C2 or C4, though they would need to drive it like a mad man, too harry for me and not something I would do if its a car that I own.

I don't have any first hand comparison with C2s, but I've gone up against slightly modded M3s (suspension and tires, more often than not, same as me) on 2 local tracks and it was pretty much down to the driver and/or how crazy we wanted to get. That's a pretty good compliment to M3s, given their price range
Otherwise, C4S feels very planted and not one HP is wasted. In fact, it could use and efficiently put down about a 100 more... but that's pretty much always the case
