Looking good ZABUCH

Man, your car looks like it's moving when it's standing still.

The brand is Techspeed in germany. They dont have them anymore on their website but they can still built one if ordered.
You can put the original 997 GT2 side markers or like i did those from Taiwan
with daylight and side markers together.
You can also put the original GT2 plastic inlays in the openings but those a heavy expansive so i run with the mash !!

My new to me 2001 996 black Coupe

31,000 miles, 6 speed, stock. Just ordered K&N drop in and new Alpine double din head unit. Ultimate drink holders to replace the factory ones that are leaving to make room for the Alpine along with the cdrom holder drawers. climate controls were already down low from the factory.
Car has electric seats and mirrors etc. Loving it so far. My sister owned the car the last 10 years and put 23000 miles on it. A friend of theirs bought it new in 2001. 5/2001 build date. Haven't seen too many of these 18" wheels on an 01.

Congrats with your C2, looks like new
As to the double din and the audio upgrade i would strongly recommend that you look at the Ipad mini solution. I was in your shoes few months ago, looking at double dins etc. but decided to install the ipad mini. And man - its fantastic. Everything and much more i would have wanted. I did the install myself and its easy really.

Talking

I looked at it carefully before I pulled the trigger. I wanted the solution I bought from CAI.

Best, Charles

Talking My newest project...

My recently acquired 2004 996 turbo cabriolet w/ 13K miles w/ AWE Tuning exhaust and flash, 997SSK, Forge DV, K&N air filter, H&R sport springs, billet pedals, 19" Champion RG5 wheels, and 8.5"/11" Michelin Pilot Sport tires, limo tint all around.

I've swapped out the interior lighting with LEDs as well as the license plate and DTR lights.

I tracked down a black hardtop w/ minimal scratches for $500 (can never find a guards red one around me) though I had to get a mounting kit as the original owner opt'ed for the delete kit so +$300; plus side, it came with all the v.2 mounting h/w). Plastidip'd it as well as the rear spoiler, mirror housings, and air intakes black. This way they match in color and texture. I'll be redoing the hardtop as I just got a pro sprayer vs. rattle cans (it really shows in the right light).

I then tracked down a 996tt bra for $50 (took a little while these things are non-existant/discontinued online that I looked). I then had a hole put in and binding done (complete with flap when not in use) to accommodate the Rennline tow hook.

I picked up the stainless steel mesh grills in Reseda from Mina Gallery (http://www.mina-gallery.com/model-pa...ille-turbo.htm). With the extra neoprene wrap they gave me for the grill edging, I made door trim guards.

She's currently getting an audio/nav upgrade to a AppRadio 3 + Focal 165 KRX3 + 2x JL Audio 10" W7AE w/ custom speaker box in the rear.

Once I get her back, I'll be covering the plastics in red Kevlar.
