I had those same wheels, same fitment on my NB 2001 C4 and I changed them because they would rub even with 275s on the rear. Now I have 997 Turbo style wheels with 305s without any rubbing.

My first P-CAR!!!
I worked as a valet at The Porsche Store in Dallas, Texas from 17-19. I swore the first Porsche I owned was going to be a 996. My dream has come true. 1999 SY 996 Cab 71k for $17K. Can't beat a moving out of the country deal!!!

My 4-year old son owns my 996. He looks for it and at it everyday, demands to ride in it at every opportunity he gets, and gets pissed if someone messes with it. 
But now, he wants a Lotus 
and he may just get it next year 
.
He may get the 996 in 12 years too.......if the engine doesn't blow up by that time
(knock wood!).

SY996CAB, nice ride! I just scored my 99C2 with 88k miles for $17k as well about a month back. Local WA car. I need to clean and take pic when it warms up some here (lower teens right now!)
