I Finally Got My 996!!
I did it, i bought a 99 C2!! in arena red!!

70000 km (about 30000miles), mint black leather interior, fully loaded, with litronic, and NEW SO2's!!!

i get the car next week... but holy crap... its official.. I OWN A PORSCHE!!!

i cant post the picture... (forum tech problem) but i will as soon as i can!!


YIPPIE!!!!!!

unfortunately...not yet.... BUT believe me, i will have tons... expect them soon.

as far as mods...

this is what i have in mind:
1.) Pss9's
2.) Fabspeed Muffler bypass
3.) Porsche Alcantara Steering wheel
4.) Gt3 Seats
5.) roll cage w/ 6point harness
6.) clear corner markers

Valentine 1 / blinder M40 package ( because i dont plan to speed)

i dont know how long this will take me, but if i can find the seats for cheap, it might not take me that long.

Congrataulations, and welcome to the club! I DISTINCTLY remember feeling exactly the same way when I got mine, now 2 years ago! (Where does the time go?!) I also started with a '99 Arena Red Coupe that a genie helped me turn into an '00 Ocean Blue Cab! What a very nice genie!!! (Real story available on request) Anyway, two years in and I still smile EVERY TIME I turn the key. I'm sure you'll feel the same. Good luck with her, and your mods. If I can offer one suggestion: if you have a 6 speed, do the short shifter. The improved feel is just unbelievable.

I see about $10K USD worth of mods (with labor). That was what I had in mind as well until about $5K USD later I realized I only had intake, exhuast mufflers, ecu, and wider rear wheels. That's when I decided to slow down that big "sucking" sound that is coming from my car

ya, i think most of these will be over time...

BUT what will i do right away...BM shortshift, Muffler Bypass, V1, steering wheel. under $2000cdn, but will make a huge difference!!
