Tubi 996 Exhaust System Group Buy

Hey folks, ok so you guys asked for it and the powers that be came up with a plan

For a group buy we'd have to get 10 sets confirmed but with the regular price being $2350 plus shipping they've agreed to have me sell them for $2000. The group buy will be specific only to all 996 C2, C4 and C4S cars 1999-2004 and runs from today until April 20th.

If you are interested in the group buy please drop me an Email to alex@sharkwerks.com with your details and I will get rolling.

Just for reference here's a quick sound clip of what our C2 sounds like in the flesh. Local guys are more than welcome to come and listen to it etc...

TIA

Alex,

Thanks for your great effort so far, but I for one, am confused about this statement from the link you provided: "The system includes catalytic converters and over tips designed to fit the factory bumper cover." Is that why those cans are so expensive? This system eliminates the cats and "oval" tips as well?

Please explain...

hi john, good spot on that... Looks like the db (database) on the site went wonky so I will fix that. It shows the 997 system etc...

This is just the muffler/exhaust system and not the headers etc...

Thanks, Alex. I'm clear about the headers but on your page it says - "The system includes catalytic converters." Does the Tubi system for the GB price of $2,000 include catalytic converters as stated? Just to be clear, your product description seems to indicate that the stock cats will also be replaced or eliminated. Is that what it means by "Tubi system?" Or, ar we just talking a pair of cans?

Hi John.. as a system there are headers (and this is in reference to the 997 product) but the thing that we are dealing with here is the exhaust (cans) ONLY. No cats etc...

I understand what you're saying. Normally the unit costs 2350 and they were good enough to lower it down to 2000. They've not had any group buys before (they don't do that sort of stuff). I'm sure someone in your area has one though...

Sounds just like my 2002 C2 with the Fabspeed muffler bypass system for $550 and I thought that was expensive. Hmmmm.

Actually we've done both here extensively and they're nothing like the same. The bypasses also resonate very strongly inside the cabin. They are very deep and boaty sounding. The Tubi's are much higher pitched and have zero resonance (even with headers) but whadda I know

I love my Tubi sound soo much, that I saved money by not upgrading the stereo. I'd rather listen to the car
