I ordered the matching pair of Kuhmos for the front, and also am ordering rear Conti. If the Kuhmos work i will probably use it for everyday driving. As for the Contis, i plan on using for the track. Either way i gotta spend money. My P-car is like a high maintenance girlfriend.

I have stock Continentals on the front tires, and replaced the rear tires with Kumhos. (i know, i know, but i wanted some value priced tires that i could beat up on. ) The rear tires match the width and aspect ratio exactly (295/40 18).

Here is the million dollar question:
A.) Do i buy the same cheap Kumhos for the front, and hope the traction control settles down because they are now the same tread, compound, etc.?

B.) Or do i belly up and spend $700 for rear Continental tires?

Any help is always appreciated fellas! P-cars rock!!!! (when they work right)

I also have a C4S and in your post you reference the rears you have purchased and installed as 295-40-18. Perhaps this is a typo, as the factory spec for the rears with 18's on a C4S is 295-30-18 rears and 225-40-18 fronts. Not sure your note implied you were having some PSM issues wit hthe new tires or posing a hypothetical question. If PSM is "acting strange" it may be because of improper size rears being 40 profile instead of 30's.

Excellent! Glad to hear the prices on the Bridgestone RE050A Pole Positions have dropped. Those are my current tires now and do love them. Kumhos are way too hard for the C4S and Turbo suspension and drive like crap on them. I know because I tried them and drove cross country with them and before I was out from town 200 miles, I knew I made a big mistake. I couldn't wait to come home so I could change them out with the new Bridgestones. I ended up selling those Kumhos to some used tire guy for $20 each with only about 2500 miles on them. What a waste of time and money. In fact, TireRack should discontinue those for the C4S and Turbos because they were that bad.
