Does anyone know if the seat bottoms on the sport seats is the same as the one for the supple leather comfort seat? Here is what I wanna do....I LOVE my full power comfort seats...i wanna get the sport seat look....while still retaining the full power and maybe even the power lumbar support....If I got a set of sport seats, can I use my seat bottom, and the seat backs from the sport seats?

 

If you have supple leather seat bottom, with the perforated leather sport seat back, won't it look funny? You will have a mismatched-interior look there.

 

I plan on have the whole seat recovered the same....

 

Did you check if the sports seats come in full power with lumbar? Maybe they do?

Yes, they come in pull power and heat...not sure about lumbar, but thats a $$$$ seat!!! If I got a good deal on a used set, swapped bottoms and had them reupholstered, I may be cheaper than what a new set would cost with all that....then again, I may not...I have only seen 1 set of full power sport seats for sale and on ebay they went for $2500 a pair.....

 

I took the easy route and dropped in a set of Custom Recaros. Lumbar support, power freaking everything, heaters, fans, etc etc etc.

My butt is sooo happy.

 

Thats the other option...sat in some and they are very comfy.....

 

The recaro's sound like a nice option, where would be the best place to look at some? Any particular model numbers.

 

you have any pics? what was the total cost, approximately.....did you have full power before? if so do you still have seat memory working? how about rear view mirror drop down when in reverse? Just dont wanna lose any funcionality....thx!
