Kick the tires and light the fires big daddy-Custom SC install

Well for the ones following my progress on my project 2000 996 that has been sitting for 1 1/2 years while I worked on the custom SC / Intercooler and and Intake etc decided to put the Boxster computers/controllers in and see what happens . I got alittle ahead of myself not having a A/F and boost gauge, but figured that with Boxster settings that it would run rich which judging by how ruff and noisey it runs I was right. I now have to get the DME programmed for a 996, and talk with GIAC on tuning. Thanks to some of the threads and suggestions offed by many and any suggestion welcome on my direction at this point. Here is a sound clip took from my phone so I hope you can hear. I gave it a qwick rev at the end of clip and it seems to respond ok.

Thanks, I was a nervous wreck! I am amazed that it started with a boxster DME and Alarm and 42 Lb injectors. I have to hand it to porsche to be able to compensate and even carry an idle. I spent most of the day fixing a radiator hose that was rubbing the SC pulley, so now I need to remove my duck tape bandades and visit the blood bank for a refill.

Thanks, Still trying to find a better intake. I am not sure on what to tell GIAC on the tune to have it done when I choose a tuner that will step up?

Cost is main factor dealer costs are very high and mine were missing so went with good used parts and could not find one out of a 996, evidently the only difference if the PN# are the same is weather they are programmed for Boxster or 996. Most of the electrics work but some do not like my sunroof etc and I think that this due to Boxsters do not come with them etc.

What brake fluid do you use? I need to bleed my clutch and flush my brake fluids. And is there a method in doing this since they share the same fluids?
