996 xenon conversion

Anyone have problems with flickering from their HID kits? I purchased the slim ballasts and installed them inside the housing. I've bought several kits over the years for other cars, and never had a problem. But on the Porsche, I get a slight flicker, almost like movement from vibration, but I get it even when my car is turned off. The lights themselves work fine, because I switched them out with another vehicle. Could it be that I have a bad battery (even though it holds a charge and acts normal) or do I need a voltage regulator?

The higher the kelvin -6000k etc. the lower the lumen output
You are losing lighting power the higher you go. Theres a reason oem ones are 4300k.
If you want better output you should get new lights or if the 996 head lights can be opened get them retrofitted with better projectors and a better lens.

The factory Litronic Xenon Headlamps have "Auto-Leveling" which always keep the headlamps at the proper level. With aftermarket Xenon kits, you can achieve really bright headlamps but since they cant "Auto-Adjust" to cars height, weight or terrain grade, you are always blinding the **** out of other drivers and will probably get headlamps flashed at you alot.
