Techart kit for C4S/Turbo

How much is this kit?

How's the quality/fitment?

Which sponsor sells it for a fair price?

Best,
Ben

I second that.. Arling is "Mr. Techart"...

I recently researched as well but Arling will be able to give you final pricing..

Bumpers will on the 4-5k range
sides skirts - around 2k or so...

Ben,

Techart stuff looks hot...one day when I have a turbo that's the bumper I'll be putting on that baby. I think there's someone on rennlist selling a used one in the 996 forum.

Best,

Jack

if you want to go the replica route, fitment is decent, i think front bumper 2k? you can try precisionporsche.com or nrauto.com, i have the replica on mine, seems fine with me

if you call Jay at brandywine porsche, he can get the real TechArt side skirts at 1700/set

$2,000 USD right?
Holyschmoly, for a replica? Might as well spend a bit more for the real deal and peace of mind...

A bit more is double the price, and they dont necessarily even fit as GOOD as the rep's

Anyone have Arling's phone #?

So budget out pretty much $10K all installed on the ride?

Fuqin insane, but damn it looks insane so I guess it's somehow justified

after the c4s, it's straight to 997, but then no forced induction for me... i want dat 997 GT3 which doesn't need a kit of any type... except wait. it does want sideskirts bad.

What's been your experiencing with the Techart original/rep pieces?

Well when i was looking i obviously wanted real, because of the thought real = the best.. After talking to tons of members back then who had experienced both they said the fitment of the replicas were even better then the OEM Techart and its not worth the extra 2000 + dollars.. I would have to agree, my bumper was amazing flat out, you just need a good painter or else it could chip up fast without clear bra!

Is it really worth doing to the C4S Ben...it looks great as is, you're gonna end up with an amazing looking car but it wont go like you want it to unless you get an S/C which is simply too expensive for the relative gains.

Just keep it as is, which is bloody nice.

The thing is, I've driven a Turbo before and honestly I don't miss the power with the C4S because in no particular order 1) the C4S sounds better to me; 2) i am one that cannot stand lag; 3) i like the looks better.

otherwise, i would've gotten a TT.

as for the 997TT, it does look better than its c4s brethren so the choice is very clear and it is noticeably less laggy than the 996TT>

But bottomline, You're right, LAB. You're right. i don't think i'll mess with the techart kit... maybe the side and rear skirt. lol you're a wise man.

thx ill as always
