Help with Installing new E-Brake

I have tried searching this site, Rennlist, and Renntech, and can not find a DIY write up on swapping out the old e-brake for a new one. Does anyone know where I can find a write-up, or can anyone give me a quick run-down of how to swap the e-brake?

I can find the DIY for the center console removal, but have not yet done that. So I don't really know what I am going to encounter after I remove it. Is the e-brake swap really straightforward, or will I need some instructions.

Thanks.

Thanks. Will wait for the pics. I am not a "DIY'er", so I get a little paranoid about changing things up. But being on this site has helped me overcome some fear. Pretty soon, I'll even be able to check the oil myself!!!

Thanks. I searched using the terms "e-brake" and "Parking brake"...never thought to use "hand brake."

Install was very simple once I got the console out. Just undo the adjustment nuts and slide the spacer off the threaded rod. Then four mounting nuts at each corner. Pop it up and slide the rod out of the cable clevice. Install the new one and adjust the cable. It wont take you more than 15 minutes - once you get the console out....
