Daytime running lights on a MY 2002 996 - possible?
Wondering if there is a way to hook up the fogs or the inset high-beam bucket lamps to act as DRL's?
I tried a thread at rennlist but the info was way innacurate.

LOL- not a GM product... The way that soft-touch paint wears off and chips, are you sure???
No, seriously, no one sees me on the damn road here in LA and it seems like every bad-driving wife drives a huge SUV. My daily commute is a constant game of offensive driving.
The DRL's help others to see my car, plus I get a further discount on my insurance.
On that note... do you know that my insurance actually went DOWN by $400 /yr by switching from the '01 330i as my daily driver to the '02 996?? Crazy... But I'm not complaining.

I suggest you just get in the habbit of turing on your fog lights while you drive. You can have your switch set to parking lights and pull it out to run the fogs without the low beams. A chime will remind you to turn them off.

here you go

However, I used my parking lights instead .. i think a3/4
All my lights are on around the car, and just the small front bulb headlight is on. Not my xenon or fogs.

I looked at so many used pcars in nice shape when I was looking to buy, and just about all of them were mint with exception of chipped / scratched interior areas on the console and horseshoe. Mine is getting re-painted black body color soon...

A6 is not correct either.
So if I use your method then all of the parking lights stay on? I only want the fogs or the inset H3 bulbs in the hi-beam area to be lit.
