Anyone have a 996 TT bumper fitted to their c2 996?

Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anyone has gotten a OEM TT bumper fitted on their C2 and how much did it cost to get it fitted? Also, could any of you guys recommend a good shop that can do it in the Socal LA area. Thanks in advance!

Sule

EDIT: My P is a 2002 Carrera and the bumper I have is a OEM 2004 TT.

Do you mean front or rear? Anyway, yes...I have both front and rear TT bumpers on my car...the best place in the LA area is Culver City Customs...310-202-1555....call Raj, he'll hook you up.

Yup...they do the modification there....they cut the bumper to fit the narrow body car.....It looks much better than the TT "style" bumpers for the narrow body that are out there and its not fiberglass so it doesnt warp, ripple or crack....here is mine....

Looks hot! Thanks for the pix. Very nice rims also! How much did they cost and what type are they?

-Also, how much do you think Raj will charge to fit just the rear bumper?

Rims are Porsche 997 Sport Design 19"....custom painted black...also by Raj...lol...Look for deals on them used as takeoffs from someone with a 997 thats upgrading....or you can get a set of knockoffs for about $1000 in silver without caps, but they will be heavier and maybe weaker...but look the same....

do you have to modify your muffler or tips to sit correctly w/ the turbo bumper?

Is there a diff btwn the turbo & c4s bumpers?

I believe the muffler has to be adjusted also and you will need a few more pieces around the license plate area since the old bumper one wont fit. Im not sure though, newport will clarify it for you.

Yes you must either use the C4S extension pipes, or have a muffler shop extend the pipes to fit...

No difference between the bumpers...the C4S has different grill inserts.
