Do you keep PSM on? (Porsche Stability Management)
Do you leave your Porsche Stability Management system on when going all out? (Here's a former post that prompts the question):

I leave mine on 100%, especially when taking those "spirited" drives in the mountains............now............. jury is still out during AutoX events. It sure seems like driving two different cars. With PCM the car is MUCH more stable, but, power overall and throttle response seem to be totally different when its off. (almost shocking difference). I seem to be able to pull a faster time with it OFF......lets say 1-1.5secs max with the liberty of forcing oversteer if needed......etc, plus initial launch seems to be a bit faster.

I leave it on unless I'm practicing slide recovery. For instance in the ice and snow, it's great to turn a parking lot into a skid pad.
When I'm on the track, PSM does not light up when I'm smooth and drifting a small amount to optimum traction, so I don't feel a disadvantage to leaving it on to save me from a screw up. However, as mentioned elsewhere, it doesn't detect out of control 4 wheel drifts, and won't save you from a truly out of control high speed spin, so I drive like it isn't on.
But I originally wanted other's opinion as to which way gets you that last bit of good speed. So thanks for the thoughts.
