Would it really look that dumb without the wing?
The wing to me is like saying you have something under the hood but you really don't.

YES it would look dumb IMHO and not just that, the aero kits are designed to be functional, and so any changes to it, you are going to change the function of the kit, it is not just for aesthetics. The kits sold by Suncoast etc. tell you not to install one piece without the others. If you change the wing then that is OK, but to eliminate it is a no no.

BTW...with or without a wing there is something under the hood!

Even when i had a partial aero on my '00 996 Cab (front bumper & skirts) i preferred to stick with the stock up/down wing. I prefer the sleaker lines without the big taco wing or in the cab case, low profile stationary wing.

With my '02, the aero bumper just isn't aggressive enough for my preference...which is why i may lean towards a GT-2 front.
Dayton from DPS quoted in the area of $2k all said and done w/ grilles, bottom lip...

still deciding...

My secondary concern is driving around in the Houston traffic with limited air flow and wonder what this tail will do for me. It doesn't appear in any pictures that I have seen to provide any way of moving the air in/out of the motor.
The most appealing feature of these parts is that they are from the manufacturer and should go on without issues of fitment.....or am I reaching too far with that statement?

What wing is this that is in the pic? Does it have openings in it for air intake?
