Will the stock 02 996 eyebrows and airducts work with the TT front bumper conversion?

I've gotten a lot of different answers on this and I appreciate everyone's help so far.

Does anyone know for sure if you can you use the stock eye brows and air ducts from the standard 02 996 front bumper with the 02 TT bumper?

Any idea where I can get the bottom turbo lip and grills cheap? I found a bumper for a very reasonable price but does not come with the lip and grills, which are quite expensive from the dealer.

The air ducts need to be modified a little. You need to enlarge the front opening a little... but that's pretty much it.

I am not sure what you call "eye brows".

Call Dayton at (818)388-7197 I just purchased the left and right grills for $85 each and the turbo lip is about $225. Don't know how much the center grill is. The left and right grills retail for around $185 each.

i don't know why them call them eyebrows either since they're on the bottom of the headlights. i'm referring to the trim pieces that are on the bottom of the headlights between the bumper and the headlights. the dealer says they're a different part number but i can't imagine that they'd be different. someone else posted that they reused their stock ones.

the "front opening" that you posted about. are you referring to the air ducts? what specifically has to be done?

I think that Carnewal.com has the lip that you need. Is is listed as the C4 "Wide Body" chin spoiler. At the current conversion rate, its about $120.

It will fit without modifying the air duct opening, but it will look a little strange. Can you post a close-up of the right or left grill of your TT-front bumper? It simply doesn't look "right".

Also, for the center grille, you should use the C4S center grille and not the TT center grille. The middle C4S grille in the front bumper comes with a drilled metal plate behind the plastic grille, which looks a little better than just the grille with no additional radiator installed behind it (like it is on the TT). Check a few close-up pics of the center grille on a C4S and on a TT front bumper to see what I'm talking about.

Not sure about the eyebrows though. My guess would be that they fit.

Hey Joe, thanks for posting the pic. A bit more of a closeup would be good though.
The casing of the air-vents should look a little different from what you see when you look into the TT bumper. You can enlarge the front-openings of the air-vents simply by cutting away the edges of the opening a little more so that the opening will be bigger than the opening in the front bumper.

Damn... this is really hard to explain without actually showing and pointing at the panels I talk about. It's not really a required mod, but it would complete the look of your turbo front.

Also, what did you do on the center-grille? Did you use the C4S grille with the drilled panel? I hardly can see the details of your center grille on your pic.

I would replace the center grille with the one from a C4S. As I said before, the grille from the C4S comes with a drilled plate (in black) behind the grille and thus you cannot look through the center-grille.
This makes sense, since the C4S (like the normal C2) doesn't have a third radiator installed behind the center grille. Thus it simply looks a little smoother to install the C4S center grille on 996 Carreras that don't have a third/center radiator.

So what's up with the eyebrow's? Do they need to be replaced or can You reuse the stock ones. Has anyone compared the two parts (turbo vs non turbo to see if they're different?

As far as the looks I plan on installing a black mesh BEHIND the factory grills so that you cannot see behind the grills. The mesh cost $35.00 and can be attached to the car itself before the bumper gets put on.
