Unhappy Car will not start :(

Any ideas from the group? Battery is fine with 12 volts, I get all lights when key is turned, I can hear the clutch switch clicking when I depress the clutch. I changed the ignition switch in Sept. I tried both keys and it would not start (thinking low battery's in the key for alarm) Can any of you think of anything else I am forgetting or should try???
Thanks in advance.

how worn down is your clutch. press really hard on the clutch pedal and try again. battery in the key won't matter.

good luck.

Chad is the red kill switch turned on? Oh wait wrong car
I was going to suggest the same as Eric, I have to puch my clutch in all the way for it switch to click, but if your hearing it click not sure what else it could be. Just for the heck maybe the battery is low even though showing 12 volts, jump it just to double check.

Floor Mat?

This happened to me the other day too -- you may try checking to see if the floormat is hindering the clutch from truly going all the way down. That is what the caused it to happen on my car.

Funny that something so easy would not let my car start and have me scratching my head for a few minutes.

Good Luck!

I tried everything. I'm having it towed to a shop in the AM. What sucks is having all your nice tools in storage..... Our new house will not be done for another month..sniff sniff... So no tools .

I tried bypassing the clutch switch...nothing... Rechecked the ignition switch.... still nothing... Time to pay someone with the right tools to fix it for me. I do not even have my Alum jack or jackstands!!! I thought to myself when the movers were at our old house.... I will not need my tools for 1.5 months! Figures this would happen. LOL

Give some gas when you try to start your car. It works for me everytime.

It's not turning over to give it gas. Plus your never supposed to do that with newer cars. Ask the guys with holes blown in their air boxes.
