Grocery Shopping in a 911.
Since I'm replacing my current car with a 911 I've been thinking: will I able to do any grocey shopping or will I need to buy a spare vehicle for that effort? I prefer to cook myself and get about 6-7 paper bags of groceries weekly. Thanks for any advice!

Plenty of room in the back with the seat back in the down position, front passenger seat and floor as well as the trunk.
I have done it, of course, as long as you shop alone.
Good luck

I do it all the time...Ditto on shopping alone though!
The only time I had inconvenience is when I went to Sams club...24 packs of water and gatorade, huge packs of TP and Paper Towel, some bottles of wine, and frozen food take up room fast!

Not a problem. Trunk + Back seats + passenger seat if you need it. Plenty of room.
I can fit a full hockey bag and 2 sticks in the car....the sticks barely fit. Good thing I am only 5'8".... and use short sticks.

grocery shopping?
i never use mine for that........not that the groceries might not fit......because all the "extras" your P-car may get while you are shopping.......door dings........hand prints.......stolen air valve caps??
never I say never.........seems like i'm talking with experience eh? (yep)
go shopping at costco in your beater.......dr porsche would be much happier.
stay safe.

I have plenty of room for a passenger and all the groceries for a family of five. Don't drive too fast with the top down and groceries in the back seat though; some of the lighter goods may have a tendency to go airborne.

If you have the space and the means I would have two rides. I have seen too many shopping carts run-ins, kids swinging their moms SUV doors wide open, and various idiots walking between cars having their purse or something on them skidding across the sides of cars...yikes! I am planning on upgrading to a 997S soon and trying to keep my current 996C4 in good shape..I don't mind walking so I park my *** in the rear

Thanks for the advice everyone! The only place around here that I go to shop is stew leonards which has a ginormous parking lot and having no cars around you when you park is very common. I’m going to try shopping soon and if it’s too much of a hassle I’ll consider getting a beater. Thanks again.

im sure u wont have a problem, unless u r shopping with someone and making big purchases. it definitely doesnt hurt to have an extra car around for those things but casual grocery shopping should be no problem
