My widebody 996 Targa....first pictures

I want to thank my friend Julius for the great photos. This weekend the car will be gettign shot with a model for a firends site.

The car is 90% done. It still needs some finishing work from the body shop. Mesh added to the front bumper and some touch ups etc. I also have the steerign wheel, floormats, and painted interior pieces to go in next week.

Enjoy the pictures:

Sick looking car - really nice. Particularly like the CF spoiler in color. Did you look into merging the fenders into the bodywork - they just look a little "bolt on".

I wanted to leave the lines on the rear fenders to match the line on the front fender like the cup car has. I also kind of like the obviousness (not a word but you know what I mean) of the rear looking widebody.

I would not do the logos if I didnt have to either. Since they are my sponsors and the pictures will be used for promotional materials they are required to be on there.

Thanks for the kind words.

Reguarding the Stickers:
I have some very nice sponsors who have provided me with some great products and I need to pay them back via promotion (stickers on the car) for magazine and internet features.

Reguarding the Nitrous:
No I am not running it in the car. The bottles are empty and will remain that way. It is just there to help out a great sponsor of mine.

I love the black cherry paint too! WOOHOO!

the wide body is a little too agressive for my personal taste, but that does not mean the car is not bad ***! It is!

Good luck with it and feel free to share some pics once you have the model! HA!
