How long do the courtesy lights stay on for?
If that's even what they're called... I'm referring to the small led's in the interior door handle pulls and the lighting on the seat memory buttons.
I noticed that if I shut the door and don't lock it, they tend to stay on for some time. However, if I lock it, they go right off.
The reason I'm asking is that I often keep my car in the garage and I typically don't lock it up. It usually sits too long and then the car turns the alarm remote off, so it's easier just to leave it unlocked.
Anyway, I had a dead battery today and the battery is about a year old. I also keep the battery on the Porsche tender, so I shouldn't be having these issues.
I guess I'm wondering just how long these lights stay on for and if that could have wore my battery out.

Donuts and beer just sounds wrong. Pizza and beer would be more like it.
If you have your car on a battery tender, those lights, if they are LEDs (I don't think I have those on my '99), should not drain the battery. I can't imagine that the current draw of the LEDs would exceed that of the battery tender's ability to supply current.
