Do not fit the car to the wheels, fit the wheels to the car!

I agree, I wouldn't consider it unless it's done perfectly by a computer controlled CNC machine- Which I have access to. I did this once before and wheels came out fine, another key was to stay within recommended bolt flange tolerances.

With these wheels, the max tolerance on the mounting deck is -2mm. Not much to shave. I can roll the fender lip a bit too, which will give me about 3mm to 4 mm, and I can dial in another 1-1.5 degrees of neg camber if neccessary.
I certainly do not want to run a 265 tire!

Anyway, I will investigate things carefully and if it does not look like it will work out well, so be it and on to the next thing- But i'm willing to give it a reasonable try, if it does work out I think it will look pretty hot.

how about a rear fitment of 18x11x45mm? I found out I can get the rears in this size as well.
[EDIT] - n/m, I answered my own stupid question. I've got to stop posting late at night... ;p

I'm interested in these wheels for my Boxster, p0rsch3 do you know if they have met JWL, TUV or equivalent standard? Are they really manufactured here in So Cal? Do they have a website or where can I get more info for them? Thanks.

These sure look like BSA 215....

Should have added that note earlier, after looking into it further they are made overseas for a fellow car enthusiast here in SoCal.

Contact info: Neel [Neel310 at verizon.net]
You can follow up with Neel directly- You should be all set since these wheels are already Boxster fitment.

Interesting- the lip is really small though and center cap size looks wrong.

UPDATE:
So after checking things mechanically it looks like these will not fit without extensive fender rolling, and then...maybe. (yes I know, 'you told me so'.. )
i'm going to see if I can get them made with the appropriate offsets- either 18x11x63mm (GT3 specs) or somewhere between 18x10x48mm-65mm.
I think the GT3 spec would give me the widest rear lip. They make a 996 turbo / widebody size of 18x10x45mm so i'm hoping this is a request they can handle.

Unless anyone else knows of a wheel like this that will fit?

who "shaves" a wheel? Thats pretty ghetto if you ask me. I never heard that before... I heard of cutting springs, but shaving a wheel? Thats a new one. Anyways they are TUV certified which is a pretty high standard and these are the BSA 215.

Thanks for that info- I found the wheels on their site, and it seems they have a variety of offsets available. I highlighted the sizes in red that I think would fit and will work with my 15mm spacers. I'd dump the spacers but it doesn't look like I can get that built into the wheel offset. The 18x11/65 might work with 2mm spacers, correct?

BSA 215a (Eagle Rock) http://www.bsa.com.my/web/wheels/215a.htm
Size:
18 x 8.0/50
18 x 10.0/62
18 x 11.0/65

Boxzing - pm sent

Icemann - I promise to seek professional help

Those wheels came with my car when I bought it. Fit great on my NB, but I still thought that I needed spacers in the rear
