What is the most HP you can squeeze out of an N/A 996?

This is a very open ended question- The 3.4s and 3.6s are just like any other motor, it all depends on how much power you want and $ you're willing to spend. You can run a complete exhaust, headers, hi-flow cats, re-map the ECU, and hi-flow intake...all of which are simple bolt-ons without opening the motor and see 30+ HP. Or you can take the big step to Forced Induction and run one of our SuperCharger kits and add over 150 hp and 90 ft/lbs. This kit is completely streetable and we've had it installed on cars for years with no issues.

If you are looking for the "bling" of a dyno chart, then you can make your hp show anything you want. If you're looking for actual increase in the car's performance, start with regearing the tranny. You'll improve performance more than you will with any available NA mod.

600 rwHP from a NA motor? Heck the 3.8 RSR with all its internal and 6 throttle bodies makes 480hp. Based on a GT3 engine displacement that seems a tall order. If we were talking 7 liters thats obtainble. What actually would need to be done? I'd love to know. My 997 GT3 stock dyno'ed at 360 rwHP. Comes out to a 13% DT loss. The FVD headers really woke up the mid-range. I am very happy but also changing to the RS single mass flywheel makes a difference in the driving performance. Wow I still am staggered by the thought of a 600 hp NA Porsche.

The car was dyno'ed at Champion Motorsports and I'm not sure of the type of dyno, possibly dynojet. The most dramatic gains were in the mid-range specifically 3500 to 5300 rpm's. Compared to stock the gains were 20ft/lbs and 40 hp. Total at 8000rpm was 26 hp. Air fuel ratios varied 12.2, 12.3 and 12.6. The response is very significant and the sound is outrageous. I remember reading one of your post where you said that after the headers your car dyno'ed at 372 rwHP. That's awesome for the 996GT3, originally being 381 bhp. You got some special juice in that one. Take care, a brother in motorsports. GT3Ranger ( Juan ).

I know 996 GT3s in Germany with 500hp N/A.
They have the Koro 4.6 litre kit and they are so fast (and light btw...clearly under 1200 kg if I remember correctly)...that it isn't even fun anymore
The ultimate track kings and I think I have some lap times that show them humiliating a lot other cars
Do you need contact information? PM me....

I don't know if you have seen this vid yet, but it gives you an idea of what the car can do against an 07 Gallardo.

There's Koro GT3's with different specs...
What I know/remember/searched from the net:
4.0 with 424 hp
4.6 with 480 hp
4.6 with 500 hp
5.0 with xxx hp
5.2 with 612 hp (was mentioned in a magazine..gotta find it somewhere)
Crazy cars with all the lightweight/suspension parts they are using...
(really love the N/A cars at the track...somehow have a Turbo in the garage...perhaps there will be a change! )
