I think it is a good product - I am happy with performance and mated with the EVOMS cold air kit it is even better. It wakes up the 996. My 99 needed the other bolts - RSS has the bolts. Call them to get or give you correct sizes.

It was the group buy before that. I had it installed for quite a few months now.

Still worth it. Just watch the torque on the TB bolts.....easy to strip.

R&D...

It's easy to copy but to improve on a Porsche design not so easy and time consuming. Im getting one asap. Greg from RSS is a great guy to deal with and I think these are definetly worth the money from what I have read : )

But I dont see how a small part that costs like 15 bucks in materials and can be mass produced can somehow cost 800 bucks plus, seems to me they are just trying to take our money because we drive nicer cars

$15 part....???

The hp to $$ ratio is about as good as it gets on the N/A motors.

It's not the parts that are expensive. It's the R&D to bring it market for a relatively small group of buyers that makes it expensive. It would be one thing if they were going to sell 10,000 of these to Honda Civic owners, but in the Pcar market the margins have to be higher to compensate for the relatively small sales. It just wouldn't be worth it for most of these tuners to work with low margins and low volume.

Besides, this is actually one of the better bang for the buck mods.

Besides, you can spend $1500 on an exhaust and end up with zero HP. Nobody is complaining about that....

is the power made peak power, or +25 across the power band?
I would love to see a dyno chart, with a before and after graph.
