I do hope this works out in your favor- make them get you into another car.
Of course the body shop is "waiting"....they might get the big pay-day job to fix the rear of the car too!

Update. The dealer told me on Friday that they now have Porsche NA involved. Of course, now PNA wants to send a rep to inspect the car. Hopefully next week, I was told. Meanwhile the car sits, untouched, in the shop. Been w/o my P-car for 5 weeks now.

Dealer said maybe he could find a loaner for me to drive. Haven't heard any more on that. I'll be back on the phone Monday. Patience wearing thin.

That's not bad news, except you don't have a car now. It may all work out for you.

Dude....you need to be a bit more forceful in my opinion...PCNA has REGIONAL reps, they are not sending a guy from Germany!!!! HOPEFULLY next week? Thats BS, it takes them no time to get a PCNA regional rep involved...the wagons are circling....In a sec, the dealer will stop dealing with it at all and tell you to deal with PCNA, and PCNA will tell you that according to the paperwork, the car was not damaged when sold, and if it was, you should have discovered it WAY before now....and your recourse? Find a lawyer and prove it in court....It sounds to me like the dealer is slowly trying to wash its hands of it. Also FIND you a loaner? They have them, the GM and upper management drive them everyday, trust me....they are stalling so THEY are not inconvenienced...

Yep, my brother works at a dealer (although not Porsche) and this definately sounds like the runaround to me. If they were interested in customer service this would be taken care of in days... not weeks.

I would escalate this if it were me.

Believe me guys, I have plan B well under way.

For now I am trying to be patient and will see what they put on the table. I have dealt with these guys for years, going back to my old 914. I am not going to throw anybody under the bus 'til I know where this is going. As soon as we have something on the table, good or bad, I'll name names.

Meanwhile I appreciate all the comments and support from you guys.
