Order in for a 08 997 Turbo, one special Turbo on the way!!!

Hello as you may recall a couple of days ago I was asking question's regarding Porsche's Exclusive programme and the colour options for a friend who wants to order a Tiptronic S 2008 997 Turbo as a daily driver.

Well the options are finalised and the car is going to be built but the drawback is that it will take a around 8 months at least for it to arrive to Kuwait, Hopefully it will turn out to be Spectacular and down right gorgeous, The theme was to have a new 911 Turbo with the colours of a 993 Turbo or in general the late 80's-90's Porsche's.

The exterior is in Horizon blue metallic ''colour paint to sample / metallic and the Interior is sporting the Sea blue full leather with Adaptive Sport seats and leather seatbacks. Whilst for contrats we had it filled with carbon fiber parts to add a racing scheme to spicen things up with the Carbon fiber steering wheel, Switchpanel, Carbon fiber illuminated door sills,Door finishers and rear centre console in addition to the Phone which sits besides the PCM Screen.

In addition the Y spoke for the steering wheel in Alluminium, Yellow Gauges, Yellow seatbelts and Yellows stitching for the Doors, Seats and Dashboards.

Also the Lip spoiler is painted in exterior colour, sideskirts in exterior colour, rear apron in exterior colour.

So what do you think will it turn out to be nice ?

Not actual pictures but we put together a colour sample with the interior and it looks good a nice contrast which makes the interior pleasent and welcoming.

Bright exterior colour/dark interior colour with speed yellow stitching, yellow gauges and yellow seatbelts.

Did not go for PCCB, Seen pictures of a Horizon Blue without PCCB and looks perfectly fine.

Turbo emblem will be painted either Speed Yellow or Gaurds red but I think cobalt migh do it well.

We dont want to go over the contrast work with yellow calipers, even if we get them painted it would seem the owner wants to be a poser by showing as if he has the PCCB to those who arent technical to how PCCB differs against the steel brakes.

I cant wait to see the final verdict, If it was my car I would ditch whatever I have planned and do a European delivery programme with the museum and Autobahn testing.

If no PCCB's I wouldn't do all of that yellow. The different blues, yellows and reds might be a bit much. What about silver stiching, belts and gauges??

He is sticking with the Yellow, I dont think it looks out of the picture might add an exotic feel to it.

Well, I tried to mention silver stitching, belts or gauges but he is not leaving the Speedyellow parts out. I really appreciate your help and if he does remove the yellow parts he is saving at least 2-3,000 dollars but what to do its not my car.

What do you think of Techart exhaust tips with the Techart type one rear spoiler and roof spoiler in conjuction with the oem Front lip spoiler from the aerokit?

Imagine how it would look on a Horizon blue 997 Turbo with oem wheels.
