Yes, it´s def non metallic! Can´t wait to see a 997TT in that color!

Congradulations it going to turn out very nice, make sure you do the exhaust tips and Turbo emblem in Black for a nice contrast.

Yes, Pure Orange is the factory name, non metallic.

wow is it orange exactly like the GT3RS? This will be interesting and I cant wait to see it... any pics on the web that you got it from?

No, not exactly like the GT3RS. That shade of orange is "blood orange." Pure Orange" is much brighter.

Pretty sure the GT3RS orange isn't blood orange. Blood orange has a lot more red in it. Someone posted a link to pics of their newly detailed Turbo Cab and the detailer incorrectly referred to GT3RS Orange as Blood Orange, which confused me and some other people. The owner of the vehicle eventually came into the thread and corrected the info.

I was always under the impression that the GT3RS color was signal orange, but after googling pure orange, the 2 colors look nearly identical.

FWIW, Porsche refers to the color simply as orange on their website and the color code is 8C6.
