I have not made up my mind on wheels yet, but I agree the pricing can be annoying. These Volks appear to be the same 1 piece forged wheels, are even lighter, are made in Japan, and are only $3,000:

Thanks, you probably don't remember me, but I bought my HRE 448's from you back in July of 2003 for my M3. I'm on here gathering data for what hopefully will be my next car. I will be back for more wheels then too.

Thanks again.

Great looking wheel but $6,200 for 1 piece, wow...I mean they def. look better than volk TE-37's, thats for sure. I would love to see these in a 3 piece with a flat fat lip. I think the 3 piece would look sick and justify the $6,200 hunsky price tag...Are they going to make a 3 piece for this application???

Have you not seen the other HRE wheels? They have the 893R, 593R and C21. All of those wheels are the similar style only are 3pc.

I responded to your thread earlier but I think a moderator deleted my post. I guess I can't talk about where HRE sends there wheels for paint lol.

These are the only HRE wheels that I'd even remotely consider getting for my 997TT! I really do like these!
