Ruf offers a 1 year warranty on the engine and turbo upgrades. Does EVO?

After visiting the Ruf Facility in Bahrain .. I have been brainwashed. They do a complete dyno (engine and 4wheel) after all parts have been installed and will redo the installation if it isn't within spec.
For those that don't have the luxury of a capable EVO/Proto installer next door ... Ruf is bar none.

Porsche is charging for a lot more than just mods and warranty. The GT2 is miles ahead of the TT suspension wise.

I got an email from Wayne Corley at Ruf. 24 months for their supercharger according to the website (R Kompressor,) 12 months for RTurbo.

Don't want to pay for it? Well go with another tuner. I've never seen a used Porsche retain equal value after mods...with the exception for RUF.

The 997 GT2 is boosting 1.4Bar according to this video...
That is quite alot, anyone know if it is the same turbo as in the 997TT? It seems like it regarding the boost.

i dude it can produce 1.4 BAR like the GT2 in the video. if they use the same turbine, so the TT can produce MORE power with JUST ECU TUNE.

But the TT has never been an never will be comparable to a GT2, you still have to lose 300 lbs, and change the suspension to have anywhere near the overall car a GT2 is.

Miles? Not even yards ahead. Dial the front from the stock TT's front -0.4 camber to -1.2 camber and the race will be very close. Over the 11 mile ring the -300lb weight + 50hp advantage buys the Gt2 only 8-10 seconds total. That is roughly what a 100hp advantage buys in otherwise identical cars. If there was any special sauce, the difference should be 2-3x more. The real differences won't show unless you are doing enduros, which none of these cars will see.

im not comparing, just stating whats available. evo offers more power at a lower price point. its not like the Ruf treatment is going to make a 997TT appreciate like crazy, they are plentiful and will be taking a nose dive in value in the coming years.
