Larry, there really is no lag whatsoever. There is less lag on the track than on the street b/c you are always in a lower gear than you would be on the street. It also helps that the ECU and exhaust mods reduce perceptible lag by ~ 50% in my rough estimate. Even if I miss a downshift from 5th to 6th (instead of 4th), the TT has so much torque down low that no distance is lost

Agreed with Alpine, you'll love them. Especially for the track. I'm assuming that you're getting the GT3 version? I'm not sure if the ones for the Turbo is the same. Are you also getting adjustable sways too?

You will need a good spring compressor. It is also tricky knocking off the nut on the top of the strut since the PASM wire comes out of the top of the rod - you cannot put a socket on it unless it is one of those new pass thru socket wrench sets. IIRC that top nut is a 22mm?
