Is that an original Techart bumper?

Because the front bumper is wider then the 997, Techart has wider fenders, and I don't see them on your car.

If it's a copy, where did you get it?
Will be an awesome result, I'm sure.

All the Techart pieces are original. I have one of the first kit that came into USA from CEC the official North American distributor for Techart. I also met with one of the Techart Reps from Germany at the SEMA show, and they are following this thread as well. I ended up getting the front bumper, rear bumper, rear wing, and side skirts for regular TT not GT Street.

The techart gt street front fender is wider but more in the middle of the fender not by the front. Also the front bumper is made of PU not carbon fiber anymore, so it can be formed to fit however way we want.

Im sorry to say this but i find what your doing ridiculous. its the same as adding an M badge to a non M Car.. Its still a fake or a replica. You want a 997 then get a real one, chopping up a beautiful 996 and trying to make it look like a 997 techart gt is just not the same as actually having one.. I myself could never live knowing that what i really still had was a chopped up 996. If you have the money to drive a porsche do it right, Your conversion, though classy, still has ghetto written on it.. Maybe you have nothing else to do and are bored of your 996, but jeez makeing a fake 997 wannabe is still worse in my opinion..

I really dont mean to sound like a jerk here, but this to me is sinful, and i know from personal experience, that once a body shop starts cutting and pasting parts and pieces, the machine is never the same again.. just my 2 cents, hope you dont hate me for it..

I respect your response. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I do what I do because I enjoy it. Also I have cut up a Porsche 996 before, so its not anything new. Its actually very simple. 3C works on tons of hot rods, old muscle cars, tons of widebody Porsche, as well as Exotics. If you understand metal it actually is quite a simple task. We are not cutting the frame of the car, just the outside body panels. This will have no ill effects on the car, and I can guarantee you it will handle much better after we are done then before. The front end is a complete bolt on. Your response of putting a m on a non m car is understandable, but this car still is a 996 turbo to start with.

I don't expect everyone to understanding what I am doing. Sometimes people just have their own paths to get to the final product.

Thanks bro. Actually before the car was a 996 C2 that we widen. This new one is the turbo. Just waiting on Evo to send me out my GT2 turbos. Car is almost ready for paint.
