Thanks to fellow 6speed user Joeacc. After talking to him I find got the ***** to attempt the 997 door handle conversion. I will be doing the conversion after SEMA as the car needs to be on a trailer next Sunday.

I contacted the guys at LA Porsche Dismantler in Sun Valley, and Todd and his crew over there were able to get me a 997 boxter drivers side and passenger side door with all the door guts for a great price. After the door handle conversion from the outside the entire car will look like a 997 turbo.

LOL...no worries, I know that will go through one ear and out the other...I do love that pedal system with the floors...SIK!!! I woulda painted the BBK green though...the yellow is found no where else on the car...sorry to nit pick it! Car came out great!!! Have fun at SEMA!!!

I have to say I am really excited about this car. I have been working with Vince now for near 5 or 6 months on this car. We work for Mobil 1 and for this year at SEMA - we wanted to showcase something really incredible. I felt Vince was developing something that met the criteria.

So at SEMA this year - you will be able to see this amazing car in the Mobil 1 SEMA Booth. Lots of press are hitting right now on this car. Do some google searches of Mobil 1 SEMA etc - and you will see posts of Vince's car from media sources.

Not only are we using his car for the booth - I wanted to do something really special and relevant for the Automotive Market. So my Agency Theory Communication and Design created a couple of Billboards that will be in vegas right by the convention center - showcasing this amazing car.

Here are a couple of sneak peaks... Hope this works.
