Autoweek claims $281K (US) for GT2 !
Just received my Autoweek (12/10/07) and not sure if posted already, but GT2 article says base price is $189,466 Euros or approx. $281K US (base price). Unless this is a typographical error, my TT looks like a bargain optioned at $151K (US). Can anybody verify these GT2 numbers ?

I agree with all of your guestimates ie. about $190K US base, but that is NOT what the Autoweek article states. It states $189,466 Euros AND THEN CONVERTS SAME TO THE US $281K figure. READ the article !

As I said in the other thread you made in the GT3/GT2/GT section...
Rest assured... The base price of a 997 GT2 is €189,460 in Europe. You could even check the German Porsche site.
In the U.S., the base price will be $191,700.

Nico,
The polite response would be to state that it was a clerical error by Autoweek. If you expect to be taken seriously, kindly refrain from personal attacks. Furthermore, I do not have "mental" problems or trouble in converting Euros to dollars. I was merely reciting information extracted verbatim from a current article in a major publication. My respectful recommendation is to read the article to corroborate, what now appears to be, an obviously erroneous price.
