fair price for installing aftermarket clutch/flywheel

I am looking to upgrade to a Sachs stage 2 clutch/flywheel as I am experiencing some slippage at higher gears. Does anyone know what is a fair installation cost for this labor? thx

I paid for 8 hours for my shop. ....they dropped the tranny rather than the engine to save time....

996tt.

I did a LWFW at the same time. UMW was my source.

Good luck.

8 hours was what I was quoted by Cantrell Motorsport too. 8*$85 per hour = $700 so that sounds about right. Curious how much you're getting the Sachs2 clutch for?

Between 500-800. 6-8 hours if the normal quote. I thought about this when I read about Gene's slippage. Even though I don't have the HP levels that he did I wanted to have it in mind for future upgrades.

I have a theory that only an upgraded pressure plate is needed, but if you are paying for the labor you might as well do a new friction disc at the same time
