If I were 19...I'd consider this a good problem to worry about.

PDK...not sure what all the hype is about...we'll see if it is implemented correctly.
New facelift? Sure. Direct injection...? Me thinks this will be combined with the change from the GT1 engine to the M97 engine, but I'm just speculating.

If you want some wow factor, I'd rather see you go with an F430 coupe...$220k on the Gallardo, and I bet it will trade poorly in the after market. The F car feels totally solid and just is a pleasure to drive; it's a beast...and it will trade pretty well when u get sick of it...

Here is a link to a nice 05 F430 Spyder for around $260 K at DC Motors in Anaheim CA (a place that does mainly consignment stuff - a few of my friends have purchased cars there and were pretty happy - I have no affiliation at all and have never even been there). If you have the coin, this is the car to get - it's a no doubter.

But this car probably didn't cost $260 K when it was new in 2004 - probably around $245 K (Ferarri MSRP at the time was $200 K)! It is crazy what dealers are getting for these now that they will no longer be produced.
I know there are some that may disagree - and I respect that - but IMHO the F430 (or better F car) is the pinnacle of car ownership.

I totally agree with this. The Ferrari is the way to go. My opinion is that you should always get the Ferrari first and then the Lambo. But an 06 or better F430 coupe will run you close to $300 K from a dealer. I think it is worth it but now you are into the big leagues.

Agreed ! I think 997TT is a better car ! But the yellow Gallardo Superleggera that we test drove at The Gallardo Roadshow 2007 was in pretty bad shape !
