0.9 boost is OK, I tried to race with F430 and I was faster after 220 km/h, and I manage to reach 323 km/h so I think that maybe the problem is in inaccurate boost reading

im currently not even getting the 0.9 boost that i used to get im getting a 0.7 .... and getting 0.9 with overboost takes away the whole point of the overboost ... you should be able to smoke an F430 at any given speed its not an issue since stock M5 can keep up with them.

I can think of a few possibilities.

Maybe a leak somewhere, problem with the VTG control, computer problem, some sensor problem.

Have them check your bypass valves (blow off valves) as well. I know the factory used to use plastic bypass valves with weak springs on the 996TT. You might be bleeding boost pressure there. I haven't checked on my 997tt yet to see what they use now. Just a possibility.

Hello Dubai_TT, If you are willing to ship your car to our facility in New York we would be able to fix that problem and add some upgrades. Good luck.... Tim

is that gold-plated gas? and Im guessing you paid 200k for your turbo? 91 octane in orange county is in the $3.50 range.

This thread here, particularly the few recent posts might have some useful info for you.

Every car should be able to achieve 1.2 bar in over boost mode. On tiptronics, there is a specific way that you have to set the transmission to see it (check to make sure I am right, but something like manual mode and 5th gear). Doesn't mean this is the only way to get 1.2, it's just one of the easiest ways to test if your car could achieve it.

Hope this helps and good luck.
