What exhaust to with

I had the gen 3 loud, which was too freakin loud for me and my wife. Later FS hooked me up with their latest quiet version which I recently tried out. Sounds good, I'll be posting a complete install diy (3hrs bumper/ic's on) as soon as I get a couple of issues worked out. Really quiet easy.

If you are in the neighborhood take a look at our WC-GT system
Lightweight, 200 cell german made catalyst, all mandrel T304 tubing, stainless steel flanges.
Great sound. No drone, No check engine lights and proven power.
Here is a picture of the system on the car.

We have an installer we work with in New Jersey if you need it installed.
Here is the full polished system installed on a 6speeders 997TT

Sorry but I don't think the GMG exhaust has the best looking tips. Both the raw and polished versions look a bit cheap to me. Looks like they're trumpets!
Prototech is new to me. Are you sure they're not as loud or even louder than perhaps straight pipes.

Guess you just cant please everyone all the time, just some of the people most of the time
As any FYI- Our tips happen to be fully functional and are integral part of the system itself. Unlike most others which are just cosmetic.

Its nice being able to change tips should you ever want to down the line... Swap out and go to black if you add black wheels, or mirrors etc...
Options are always +1
That said, I do agree both tips should function and not have one closed off as a 'dummy tip' just for looks. Fabspeed's both get air and look great.
Or black:

Excuse my ignorance but, what "function" does the tip serve as far as power or sound. In reality isn't it just cosmetic & to keep the heat from destroying the bumper?

I like the way the GMG looks, prefer the non polished look on everything except the tips, those guys look better with a nice finish. I have it down between the cargraphic and GMG for my Turbo.

I think the gmg stuff looks good fwiw.

I had the Fabspeed quiet installed by Imagine Auto yesterday. Great service and great guys to work with, I highly recommend them. The exhaust sounds great. It is quiet when cruising or under lignt acceleration, but very nice under WOT. It has a great aggressive sound. I will say however, that it is quite loud under WOT with the top down (and quite chilly at the 28 degree top down test temperature).
