If he's asking $200,000 for his Porsche Design Cayman...

Wow, this guy now has a "Buy it Now" price of $200,000 for his '08 Porsche Design Cayman S! He also has a 2008 GT-2 allocation which I couldnt find on e-bay, but using his Cayman S price as a gauge, he will probably have the GT-2 listed with t a Buy it Now price of $471,000. What a moron!

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=2 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR vAlign=top align=left><TD colSpan=2>Vehicle Description </TD></TR><TR vAlign=top align=left><TD width=8>
</TD><TD width=770><!--/EBAY_AUTO_SYITEMPLATE1-->This is the FIRST Porsche Design Edition 1 Cayman S in North America! The lowest Edition Number 003 / 777 in North America! As you might know: 001 Was the display model and 002 went in the "Porsche Collection Vault" in Stuttgart, Germany.
You are bidding on my 2008 Cayman S Porsche Design Edition 1. This is the actual vehicle - BRAND NEW AND NEVER TITLED! I was lucky enough to get one of the 250 that are allocated for the North American market. It's Edition # 003 / 777 - It's an October production.
THESE PORSCHE DESIGN EDITION CAYMAN S ARE ALMOST SOLD OUT IN THE USA AND WORLDWIDE - PERFECT FOR THE TRUE PORSCHE COLLECTOR OR THE TRUE PORSCHE FAN WHO WANTS THE MOST EXCLUSIVE CAYMAN ON THE PLANET!
Only 777 Made and only 250 in North America! Be one of the first and one of the few in the World who will own this most exclusive and Limited Production Cayman S! Porsche hasn't started advertising this car yet because the official release is planned for late January 2008, and when they will, the prices can only go up - If you are able to still get one. THEY ARE ALMOST SOLD OUT!!!
Yes, this is the best looking Cayman I've ever laid my eyes on. The pictures can't even do it justice! I was hesitant back in August what it would look like. So, I flew out to the Frankfurt Auto Show (IAA) in Germany where the car debut in September.
The car looks STUNNING and very CLASSY. I was EXTREMELY impressed with the Porsche Design Edition 1 and the attention to detail. It's simply BEAUTIFUL AND A PIECE OF ART AND DESIGN!
Being a Porsche Nut, I wanted a "Collectible" edition number. However, Porsche doesn't let you choose which edition number you'll get. You will only know the edition number when you take delivery of the vehicle at your dealer. So, I placed a few orders for this vehicle. I figured, the worst thing that could happen is that I have to sell the others and come out about even. Did I mention that I'm a Porsche NUT?! Now these cars are almost SOLD OUT!
However, I got lucky with 003 - The first one in the US and the rest of the world! Number 001 and 002 went to Porsche. I will keep this one! It's only listed for advertising reasons unless there is a bigger collector out there than me.
If you are seriously interested in one of the other ones - Please know that I'm not trying to make money with these vehicles and that I'M NOT A DEALER - I have a pretty good day job.
I have my collectors number and now you can purchase the rest of my vehicles for the same price you would have paid at your local dealer. If you have any further questions - Please just let me know. Have a great day and thanks for looking!
Please also check my other auctions for more Porsche Design Edition 1 Cayman S models as well as my 2008 GT2 allocation!!
Pictures for display purposes only. Options may vary. Copywriter for pictures and text is postgolf. Offers are welcome.

What am I missing? This car looks like a Cayman S with some cheesy stickers and sill plates. All show, no go.

What a clown, we sold ours about 2 weeks ago and even took 1500 off of it. I know for a fact that about 1/3 are still sitting in showrooms. I guess it was worth a shot but the jackass who falls for it is going to really hate it later

There is one parked at the local dealer and I was offered the car for 71K. I take it his premium is based on the fact that it is serial number 3 with the prior numbers being unobtainable. That said it will take 30-50 years to realize any perceived value in having this car and since I like to drive my cars this is one auction not worth winning.

Best of luck and like they say......."there's a sucker....."

What a laugh, none of that makes sense: "I placed a few orders for this vehicle ... I got lucky with 003 ... I will keep this one! It's only listed for advertising reasons ... I'm not trying to make money with these vehicles ... you can purchase the rest of my vehicles for the same price you would have paid at your local dealer."

what a bargain...calling my broker right now to SELL SELL SELL so i can buy this 1 of a kind collectors car. hope this is not a 6-speeder's car!

Hey anybody want to buy my car. Probably the ONLY Minerva Blue 996 cab in N/A. Only $180,000 for fellow 6-speeders.

What you guys have to understand is that 99% of the buying population is oblivious to what we understand.

I guess he probably wants $500k for his Turbo and $1,000,000 for the GT2 he has on order.
