It seems to all point towards the tubi (sound, hp gain, weight, finish etc) but I'd also like to get other 997 turbo owners opinion. Does anyone have the europipe on their 997 turbo yet?

I do on mine...but I have nothing to compare it to - never heard the Tubi but have read lots of good things about it. The engineering on the Europipe is outstanding - big 76mm outlets and 100 cell HJS/Emitek cats. Fits perfectly, sounds and performs great, no CEL's. Only drawback is that because of the 76mm outlet you have to use a modified OEM oval tip that EP supplies. Check out their website - they're a board sponsor over on the right side banner. Email Stef and you'll get lots of info.

I love the looks, no doubt great quality. But I'd have to hear a drive by, the exhaust under load if you will. I think Europipe would move more units with that online somewhere.

Im sold on the Tubi this far.

I have the Tubi . It would PM you a short sound clip but it won't go through. I love the sound note of this exhaust and since I had all of the engine parts done at the same time I do wonder if the headers and intake produce an even nicer bark to it's bite . The intake BTW is Werks1 and headers are Evo .

I was lucky enough with my previous car (997S) to see a few cars but with the Turbo all I had was the youtube video's to look at and as good as they are it's no comparison to how this car sounds when driving it .

I am very happy but I will suggest this with ANY exhaust if you get to test drive it -- After you get finished hearing high revs take the car at a slow even 2500 -2800 RPM drive . That is the point where you can decide what is most comfortable for you and a passenger .

Good Luck.

Thanks jhbrennan for the link and thank you yrralis1 for your thoughts. Can you please email me the sound clip at samizodo@mac.com. Do you experience and drone and have you heard the car without any work done to the engine?

In your choice of the Europipe....did you ever consider SpeedArt exhaust?? Heard a clip on their webpage and had the best 997 deep sound of any I have heard yet excluding the Europipe which I have not heard yet.

I think the decision to purchase an exhaust system is very subjective...unless of course you have heard up close and personal what the system sounds like. I bought Europipe on reputation and what I had seen on a 996 TT. I really didn't evaluate Tubi, Fabspeed, AWE or others because I didn't have access to the real thing - sound clips don't do these systems justice...plus you don't know what kind of interior resonance you might experience. my suggestion - if you find a system you like make sure you hear it in person.
