I did some more research and found another dyno graph to give a comparison between the first. 419 All wheel HP. The car was run with the speed limiter on so it had to be run in 3rd gear. THey believe it has about 30 more HP in it, but we'll have to wait and see.
I posted this because I believe it's only fair to show everrything that's out there, not only the best Dyno on the GT-R

240ka,

Whats in your stable ? Do you own a GTR ? 997TT ? Do you have any personal experiences with a 997TT ? Unless you have some real seat time in ANY of these vehicles what makes you qualified to render an opinion ? They are all great cars in their own right but I get the feeling that your personal "experiences" are limited to read magazine reviews. Otherwise, you would certainly show more respect for the 997TT. So stop talking trash. Most of the people on this board own their 997TT. Why are you here ? Are you a troll ?

i have plenty of seat time in both the 996 and 997 911 Turbo, no i dont have a GT-R.

and is this yet another diversion away from the facts?

id take the TT, GT-R and R8. but TT wouldnt be anymore special than the GT-R.

the R8 would most likely be my least fav of the three

but if i could only choose one. I'd take the GT-R

these test are to prove which car is better. with the same driver every test has shown the GT-R will post better times than the 911 turbo or Gt3 consistently.

thats a fact that cant be run from or avoided the fact that people are continuously having to try and grasp at straws to attempting to find angles to argue a poitn that not arguable only shows how fruitless the arguements are.

theres not ONE test with a 911 turbo or GT3 beating the GT-R. if there is one that comes which i highly doubt. yall will try and use that to be more valid than all the other test already been done with the GT-R beating the 911 turbo and GT3.
Actually it wasn't getting away from the point. Ask any race team whats important in designing a car. Keep it low and keep it light. The GT-R is both tall and heavy comparably. It's been brought up before about tire compounds. In production it's always a compromise what to put on during production. Caddilac used sticky tires so they could get good numbers with the CTS-V but you could't make one trip to Grandmas without having to buy a set of tires. Porsche understands the bulk of use for consumer cars is on the street, so they picked the best compomise of wear, noise and traction. When it comes to the track, with the same horsepower, you'ld be a fool to bet against a car that's lighter and lower, because at the track people will be running with camparable rubber.

I don't have a GT-R. I don't have a 997TT. I don't have anything that I can race....but I have "seat time."

I have no problem saying the GT-R is as fast as the TT, have said it many times. But the media protrayal is off, by quite a bit.
