My new 997TT w/Twin 30R's...

If you get good suspension for it...I doubt that CGT would be faster in any track...stock 997 TT Tips only 1 1/2 sec slower then CGT on our track with many turns...and CGT driver has more track experince...a lot depends on a track and driver...with you kind of power you need to upgrade brakes 1st imho

no you don't have any idea what your talking about if you think that air volume is the same as air pressure lol..

we are still waiting on the custom rods and liners. everything else is in and ready to go! i can't wait to build this beast! we are shooting for over 1000+ hp at the wheels!

i just spoke with tym. since i am planning on using this car as my true daily driver on 93 octane pump gas, tym is recommending we should just try the gt35r turbochargers to see if we can make the higher power levels more safely since we can lower the intake air temps. i was hoping to run this car at 700 rwhp everyday on the gt30r turbochargers on 93 octane pump gas. but i think with the gt35r's maybe we can run 750+ rwhp on 93 octance pump gas. what do you guys think?

my only concern would be the potential increase in spool up... Personally I would like a car with more "instant on" response through the entire power band on a daily rather than 50 more peak HP. Where is the engine going to be operating at 90% of the time for daily duties? My guess would be in the lower range where a more responsive torque curve would make a more fun daily driver.
Just my .02. Can't really go wrong with either option i suppose!

i would think the car still has plenty enough down low. however, when i want to make some highway pulls, i would have the extra power when i really need it. i guess if i dont like it, it is easy enough to go back to the gt30rs. i just want to have the most powerful 997 turbo on 93 octane pump gas for the streets. i can't stand running out of race gas and then all of a sudden, something pulls up next to me and i wish i had race gas.

i can always bolt the gt30rs back on if i think there is too much trade off between drivability and performance. i figure it can't hurt to try them.
