That's a great vid.
It really shows the launch and how it pulls thru the gears.
It's amazing how quiet it sounds.

can Tym share his shifting secrets?

The secret:
It's the car. It's the way the car is prepared. It's doing what it is built to do and any competent driver can nail precise and quick shifts in the car. It's all about the combination and the preparation of the vehicle for what it's being asked to do! There's more to vehicle preparation than just making peak power numbers!
Besides... I'm rusty compared to the way I used to drive, lol!
Thanks for the compliments though!

Whatever you did you hit it on the nail... it took someone 6 years from the moment the first 996tt roll out to run a 9 second run... you did it about a year....

It was great meeting with you today Tym, you run a tight ship, and you know your ****. A no nonsense, tell it like it is attitude is what I like. You passed the "Laura" test with flying colors. Thanks again for a great trip, and I will be on contact with you very soon about some upgrades.
David, it was really great meeting you today as well. Thanks for picking us at the airport in your S65, and letting me ride in and drive your Sledgehammer beast. We have very similar tastes in cars! (and watches, haha) Your Sledgehammer is just what you described it to be, a practically unbeatable, full weight, comfortable street car. You are one hell of a stand up guy.
