0-60 Mag: 997 vs GT-R
#16
just give up up fanboy. the 997 911 isnt enough of a car for the GT-R the 998 should be.
the GT-R also in most reviews trapped between 120-121. not 118
but again the GT-R still has a Zero and the 911 doesnt have one win. its not HYPE guy, its real its fact

Holding its value in 5 years? Have you seen what happened to 996's? Nice try...

You had 3 993 Turbos?

the GT-R and ZR-1 arent competitors. just like the 911 turbo and ZR-1 arent. the GT-R, ZO6 and 911 turbo are though.
the GT-R Spec V, GT2 and ZR-1 are competitors. And i say that the ZR-1 wont beat either the GT2 or Spec V.
Spec V>GT2>ZR-1
i predict the Spec V is going to beat the CGT, GT2 and ZR-1. Being that NIssan is aiming the Spec V at the Carrera GT

Give it up. Go to the Nisssan boards would ya.
These debates are stupid at best. Stop paper racing!!!
240ka you seem to sit behind your magazines and computer monitor racing cars that you neither own or have driven. Either buy one and shut us up or enjoy this board like the rest of us.
There are many claiming a higher horsepower output than stated. Can you find me an article that has tested it on a 4 wheel dyno? No so get me real numbers against real numbers and then we can talk.
I will consider the Nissan and give it lots of credit. Design wise well thats another story but technology is impressive and so are the numbers. But once again YOU don't know if they are playing with a fair hand in the HP numbers yet. Can we put a Stage II 997 Turbo with coilovers and "special" compound tires against it and see how it does? Because now you are talking about Spec-V, etc, etc. Lots of guessing and assumptions.

heavy give it up. only time its been mentioned the 911 TT is faster than the GT-R. was it getting to their top speeds. which was said by top car. they stated the 911 TT creeps to its top speed alittle faster than the GT-R and they even reiterated "CREEPS" the fact it gets there a alittle faster by ONLY a TAD.

LOL, and that was Inside line at sea level in cold weather.
The engineering research place trapped like 118/119. And I bet we'll see more of those than 120's or 121's.
You still dont have a clue do you. No matter how much you try to esteem yourself you're still a fanboy without the car. Do you even have a car?
Inside line also dynoed the GT-R at 406 awhp on a mustang dyno. So back to reality there huh with all the phony dynoes floating around and fanboys crying underrated.
And I'm not reffering to the top speed clown, I'm talking about the same test where one of the mags went to the ring while Nissan was testing and got to drive it. Cant remember which one, but they said the Turbo out accelerated the GT-R.
Not to mention how badly the Z06 out accelerated the GT-R in the 0-100-0 test, and even with the *cough* 3.3 0-60 time it only won because the guy couldnt react to the Z06's speedometer climbing so much faster. That and shotty tires on the Z. The TT is not that much slower than the Z.
The raping will commence, you still are only a fanboy quoting media hype. When you learn to look at the intricate details instead of taking media at face value, you will finally have learned something.

Wow, that must be some good chit that you are smoking! I predict that you are wrong, won't ever own ANY of these cars, and will eventually go on to high school someday (if you ever finish the seventh grade).
