Sport Bucket seat P03

Hello everyone!

I am a new member here, having my first two Turbo 997's at the moment, after having 997 C4S Cab for a while.

My Turbo is GT Silver/ Coco/ PCCB + 20 other options. I have been around other forums for few years ( m5board, m6board, ferrarichat), but this is my first post here! I find this forum very professional and it was a great pleasure to find out what level of tuning and racing is going on here! Impressive! Some other forums are more of finding beautiful wheels...

Anyhow, I WANT to have new P03 Sport Bucket seat in Cocoa leather. Can anyone help me in this matter, where I can get my hand to these seats? I have basic seat and they are not for me... I heard Porsche is not selling them yet.

All info/ help highly appreciated!

Welcome Brad,

Since you're in Finland, you might actually be able to get them from carnewal.com over in Belgium. Gert has always been good about being able to get Porsche parts. You might want to give that avenue a try.

These new seats came with new GT2. They are much more supportive than adaptive sport seats and they work with 3- point harness. Of course, You loose all electrical adjustments but nowadays they are at least folding.

Weight saving is the other thing + GREAT looks with carbon rear! I have not driven with them, only "test sitting" .

I used to have adaptive sport setas in my previous Turbo, but I want to have more support to occasional track days : )

I have the sport bucket seats in my 2008 turbo. They are great for twisties and the track. THEY ARE NOT FOR EVERYDAY DRIVING, AS THEY ARE HARD ON YOUR BUTT. aLSO, IF YOU ARE NOT LIMBER IN AMYWAY, YOU WILL LITERALLY HAVE TO HOIST YOURSELF OVER THE SIDE BOLSTER ( THEY are BUCKET seats) and it can be awkward. My friend drove mine and told me he would not tolerate the seats. My wife hates them. If this were my DAILY DRIVER I would not have them.

Yes they are lighter, yes, i am getting threepoint for the track, But you need to drive and get in and out a bunch. If you are very tall or not limber these are not for you

Wow!! 2200 miles per month. That's a lot of driving.

I'm 6'4'' 228. They are hard on my ***. period. They fit me well, they are just not my choice for daily driving
