Aftermath: Road trip to end all road trips!
#16
Jason, this is one of the best threads that I've read on this forum and it is very interesting to read and see what you and your friends got to share in your road trip. I must say I really enjoyed looking at the pictures and specifically the last hotel you've visited and Mendocino as it looks like it is one great area.

Because of prior commitments Atomic had to leave our merry band a day early and missed our drive on California State Route 36 so unfortunately revealed in this months Road and Track magazine. We also enjoyed a northerly route of 90 miles of twisties, which we had all to ourselves. The total trip was almost 3000 miles. A great time was had by all. We got to visit with old friends and meet new ones. I look forward to doing more of these trips as does my car, which now sits in the garage catching its' breath.

Dude!!!!!
thanks for posting the pics!!!!
Awesome!!!!
All the pics. Even the ones without the cars.
I like to see people really taking the time out to enjoy life..
Encourages me to do the same.
The next TT I buy will be a Midnight blue. That is soooo beautiful.
GT silver (or Slate?) looks awesome also. I just like the different shades of the blue in perfect lighting.
thanks again!!!

Can you hear the applause coming from North Jersey! ! !
What an excellent review. Echoing the previous posts, this certainly is one of the best threads in a long time. Great pictures, short captions, clear and concise dialog where needed. I love the video mount.
It's a 'Catch 22' with the camera mount - they can give you a ticket for "obstruction of vision" if it's inside the car ... and they see it ----- but if you mount it outside the car (I rig it on the roof with the front edge of the hood in the lower eighth of the frame) you can't get the 'obstruction' ticket, but you're certain to be followed as they just know that you'll be up to shenanigans with a video cam.
Again, I applaud your photography skills, captions, and dialog - Awesome! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the education...I truly was under the impression that "930" itself implied the chassis code just as the 997 is for all current 911 Porsches.
