Porsche Aliminum Gas Cap

I bought this new gorgeous gas cap, but I couldn't put it on, coz I couldn't remove the stock gas cap

I did not use any force but the black string doesn't come off, I guess I need to rip the little cap at the back of it off first, but my hands are a little big to do that

anybody know how would I remove it?

Are you talking about removing it where the rubber line connects to the car? If so, I think I recall using some curved needle nose pliers and pressed the clip from behind and pushed it out far enough to release. Hope this helps.

Yes, that's how I removed mine. Took some force but it eventually came out. BTW, it's painted aluminum not real.
