Not to steal anyone's thunder, but my dealer told me dealers' margins will be taking a hit in addition to the increase consumers are paying. Thank you, weak dollar.

I got my build sheet today also and that all matches with what I've heard. No word on the LED lights, but appears to probably be a no. New PCM is a yes for sure. Keep in mind some of these options are going to be removed (red seat belts, XM) and some will be added, but it gives an idea anyway and supports NYAMG's info.

Depending on where you live I would not remove XM. The PCM will have traffic information but only if you have XM.

Great specs! Don't forget 220 (if you want it).

The thicker (CPA) multifunction steering wheel (431) sure jumped in price from $930+$250 in 2008 to $965+$870 in 2009. Everything else was less of an increase than I was expecting.

Thanks! I did submit 220 but it didn't show up on the build sheet. I reminded my dealer and he will make sure it's there. You're right about the price on the steering wheel...I actually thought there was a mistake on that. XTV didnt make the list either but I will look into that...gotta have it. I'm not sure DAW is worth the price...seems steep for what it is.

Also, I am still not 100% on exterior color (there's a chance I will change to Guards Red...those pics of Eclou's and Vic55's cars are awesome, but I don't know if I need 2 red cars), rear center console (leather and carbon still possible), and deviated stitching. I'm going to be at the dealership next week to review and see some of the options in person so I can finalize.

Nice one. I just hope Porsche wakes up and redesigns the freaking steering wheel options. They really do suck. LED and other fascia updates may show mid to late in the production year.

I was so excited to have the new rear lights, but I guess just the regular 997s are getting them

I don't think DAW is worth the money, but it is one of the few ways to do deviated stitching right - and they are all expensive. Deviated stitching is about $3500 more than if you ordered DAD + CDZ and about $5000 than standard. It is pricey option but also really makes the car POP!

It makes me a little sad not to be getting the "latest" look but as so many others have said, "If you continue waiting for the next new thing from Porsche, you just end up never driving a new Porsche."

I couldn't agree more...this pic of a car with red stitching on black made me want it. But I'm a little concerned it will be too gaudy or I will tire of it, and the girl I'm dating is trying to subtilely talk me out of it without coming out and saying it...so I have to see it in person first before I decide 100%.

On the other hand I will be keeping this car in S. Florida so gaudy is relative.

Well, I was at Niello in Sac a couple of months ago and they had cars with white, red and yellow deviating stitching. All looked just fabulous in person - far better than any photo. White was not an option because I think it will get too dirty. I ended up going yellow because I ordered PCCB and wanted something a little in-your-face after driving Audi's for the last 6 years. I admit I have had thoughts of going red or not deviating the stitching at all and just blowing the money on mods down the road.

I am still being told that XTV is not orderable - if you hear differently, please let me know.

Where are people getting the info that 2011 will bring the new turbo?

Wouldn't that mean they have to move away from the 997 for the base Carrera in 2010 ?
